About your therapist

Hi, I’m Ina, a Complex Clinical Trauma Therapist specialising in working with adult survivors of childhood abuse.

My passion is helping individuals heal from the lasting effects of trauma by providing compassionate, informed care tailored to their unique needs.

As a Certified Clinical Anxiety Specialist, I blend neuroscience, grounding techniques, and psychoeducation to support clients in understanding and managing their anxiety and emotional responses.

In addition to trauma therapy, I specialise in treating Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) using Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) techniques. My approach is holistic, integrating evidence-based methods with mindfulness and emotional regulation strategies, all within a safe and supportive environment that fosters resilience and growth.

With years of experience as a Clinical Supervisor, I also provide counselling supervision to therapists working in trauma agencies and private practice. My aim is to guide and support fellow counsellors as they navigate the challenges of their work, ensuring they feel confident, balanced, and effective in helping their own clients heal.

I am committed to helping individuals move toward recovery, offering a space for healing, empowerment, and lasting change.

It is my personal belief that spending time with an empathic, non-judgemental therapist, offers you the opportunity to feel truly seen and heard, perhaps for the first time, gaining insight into the matters that brought you here.

I am a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and National Counselling Society registered counsellor  and fully abide by the professional guidelines set out in the BACP Ethical Framework.

Whether you are suffering with anxiety, depression or would like to process a traumatic experience, here at Counselling Insight you will find a safe space, where you can feel comfortable enough to share your thoughts and feelings and explore life.
